Hoover's Hideaway

This relaxing woodland cabin is located in the quietest area of Bryce Resort.  Come enjoy the woodland serenity from the front porch, the back deck, or the backyard firepit.  Access to the cabin includes three steps up from the spacious gravel driveway.  This cabin is about 2.5 miles from the Resort’s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and 4.3 miles from the Basye Community Store.

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The large living room includes a comfortable sofa and loveseat, and features a gas log fireplace (operable only October - March) and flat-screen smart TV.  Watch your favorite TV shows and movies with your preferred streaming providers.  The kitchen and dining room are conveniently located adjacent and open to the living room. Kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind).  The laundry room is located off the kitchen.  Leading away from the living room, the main hallway accesses the cabin's includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.  The large primary bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom has a bunk bed (twin upper, full lower), and the third bedroom has a twin-size bunk bed.  Sleeps 6-8 comfortably depending on guest preference.

The cabin is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.  We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store. 

WiFi internet is provided by 50mbps cable internet, which is sufficient for working, video conferencing, light gaming, web browsing, and TV streaming. 

**This is a self-check-in property.  Guests will receive Check-in Instructions seven days prior to the arrival date, or immediately if booking within seven days.  The Check-in Instructions include the property address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, WiFi log-in credentials, and other important preparatory information.  

OTHER NOTABLES:
Pets are NOT permitted.

This property has a wood-burning fire pit; it does not have a hot tub.

Guests have unlimited access to the Bryce Mountain Escapes pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade, Mount Jackson, VA 22842), which is about 3.2 miles from this cabin.  See pictures of our pool in the unit listing.  It’s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Quiet hours after 10:00pm and before 8:00am are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:
Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park.  Please visit Bryce Resort’s website for more information, seasonality, and pricing.  Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts.

Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries & breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
