Slippery Slope (Unit #231) | On ski slope | Triple-decker bunk beds!

This open and airy unit is located within the second of three condo buildings at the base of Bryce Resort’s ski slopes and mountain bike trails.  The convenience of this property simply can’t be beat: a 50-yard walk to the main ski/bike lift, a 75-yard walk to the ski/bike shop, and a 100-yard walk to the Resort’s main lodge, restaurant & bar.  The golf course pro shop is a 0.4 mile walk or short drive.  Kids and adults alike also love its easy access to the Aspen East pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 7am-10pm) adjacent to the building.

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
Aspen East #231: Slippery Slope is a one bedroom, one bathroom, top floor unit with 48 steps up from parking lot level.  While the stair climb is tough, this condo and its view of the ski slopes is totally worth the effort!  The balcony is high up at lift-level, so guests can chat with skiers passing by.

Slippery Slope was renovated in 2016 and refreshed in December 2023.  Aside from its lift-level views of the ski slopes, other wow-factors include the built-in triple-decker bunk bed, massive stone wood-buring fireplace, and unique floor plan with an open kitchen.  The living room and bedroom have front-row views of the ski slopes and passersby on the ski lift. Dining is bar seating for three at a custom barnwood high-top bar table facing the windows and fireplace.  The huge bedroom has a queen bed, and additional sleeping capacity is provided by triple-decker bunk beds (one double, two twins) in living room area (huge hit with kiddos!)  This unit comfortably sleeps up to five or six, subject to the limitations of having only one bathroom.  You'll love the short walk to the ski lift and Bryce Resort's facilities.  The living room features a substantial stone fireplace, new furnishings, and a smart TV (streaming only).  The bedroom also includes a smart TV.  The bathroom features separate powder and shower/commode rooms.  A stacked full-size washer/dryer unit is located in the bedroom closet.

Please review the listing photos carefully.  This condo offers all the amenities and comforts of a new home in just 750 square feet.

The kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind).  The condo is also supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper, two dishwasher tabs, three kitchen trash bags, one bath trash bag, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.  We encourage guests with larger groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

Firewood is available for purchase at the kiosk at our office (2565 Orkney Grade) or the Basye Community Store.

High-speed internet is delivered through an Eero mesh WiFi network at speeds up to 1gbps -- perfect for working, streaming, and gaming.

OTHER NOTABLES:
Pets are NOT permitted.

This is a Self-Check-In unit.  You'll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.

MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:
Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park.  Please visit Bryce Resort’s website for more information, seasonality, and pricing.  Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts.
